At Equilibrium, we KnOw that some of the most powerful pathways to well-being and wellness are found in Music and Dance. Our core team have been dancing and producing music for almost forty years, creating unforgettable events and parties across countries, and they still are!
Did you know that at our infamous wOnK Parties, the music and sound quality are paramount? Founder Danny Mekanik has been producing and playing music since 1985. Lisa Life has been out dancing to it since 1989. As original Old Skool Ravers, they bring to the Wonkbcn team a knowing that spans decades of Dance Music. They were there from the start, and it really was a Revolution!
Now with teams in both the UK and Barcelona, we have multiple weekend events lined up for 2026 in Catalunya, as well as our Beach Party WAVES, which launched in 2025 at Nativa Chiringuito in Vilanova and returns in Summer 2026.
Look out for these dates, along with other collaborations, nights out in the City of Barcelona, and adventures with collectives from the UK.

WONK – For Those In The KnOw
ACID HOUSE PARTY SINCE 2009 AND IN BARCELONA SINCE 2019
Founded in 2009, wOnK creates costumed, themed parties with the best quality sound and nicest people around. With an emphasis on fun, family and dressing up.
We have already delivered over 100 costumed and themed parties with incredible sound. 7 annual Micro Festivals in England and Wales, regular party nights in Staffordshire UK, which are still going strong! Individual events in Manchester & Birmingham, UK. A packed Boat Party at the Electric Elephant Festival in Croatia. Several Beach Parties in North Cyprus and great nights in North Nicosia. 2018 saw the 4th annual Wonk Cyprus, bringing in an international crowd to the beautiful North of the island for fully curated week-long events bringing together Parties and Holistic Practices in fantastic settings. Almost 15 years on, wOnK continues to grow and is something unique and loved by many. In Barcelona, since 2019 @Wonkbcn now delivers special events in private locations around the Garraf area, with their amazing Sound System, SiRiuS. WAVES - BEACH PARTY at nativa chiringuito, vilanova
In Summer 2025, we launched Waves Beach Party at Nativa Chiringuito in Vilanova, set on the stunning Platja del Far, the beautiful lighthouse beach on the Sitges side of the port.
From May to September, wOnK residents Danny Mekanik and Mimsy held down monthly sessions, kicking things off with an unforgettable opening night featuring the full wOnK resident lineup: Will Grant and Simon Betterlate, plus special guests from Wonknation UK, Kelvin Andrews and Ocean Spencer.
Throughout the season, we welcomed house music legends to the decks, including Andy Carroll, Angel Johnson, Johnny Loves House, and Robin 12Tree, each bringing their own distinctive sound to the party.

US - Underground Sounds - underground sitges
Underground Sounds, Underground Sitges. Private parties in intimate venues with resident Danny Mekanik plus guests. To date including Andy Carrol (Cream UK); Angel Johnson (Swoon, Miss Money penny’s UK); Simon Boulind (Funk It BCN), Mimsy (wOnK BCN) and special live reunion of Soul Mekanik, playing together live for the 1st time in 4 years with Kelvin Andrews (wOnK, Golden, The Bomb). US is a place for likeminded souls who love music away from the hype.
SIRIUS SOUND SYSTEM – 10K Quality Sound System
Our 10k, custom built sound system from the UK is the cornerstone of our music events. Sirius simply sounds incredible.
